Funky Buddha Brewery, a full-scale production brewery and tap room located in Oakland Park, Florida, has become a hot spot for craft beer enthusiasts. The brewery features a 3,000-square foot tasting room and bar featuring 30 drafts lines pouring flagship Buddha brews, limited releases, and beers from many of Florida’s other craft breweries.

The brewery is also known for selling its highly coveted limited releases in 32 ounce growlers. These reusable glass bottles enable the buyer to enjoy the innovative flavors such as Maple Bacon Coffee Porter or Last Snow featuring flavors of coconut, coffee and white chocolate in the comfort of their homes – which brings us to the reason for this blog.

Recently, during a limited growler release, the brewery was short staffed, the lines were long and the service was slow. Later that night, head brewer and co-owner Ryan Sentz posted an apology to Facebook recognizing their shortcomings and committing to doing better next time. His mea culpa was immediately received with several hundred likes and many messages of understanding and even praise.

Electrum Branding tips our hat to all businesses that own up to and learn from their shortcomings rather than make excuses. Kudos Funkyy Buddha! Now about that growler…all this praise has made us thirsty.
